This is a comedy about the corrupt world of children’s TV show hosts (the kind that dress up in animal suits). If it’s your kind of humour you’ll probably fall off the couch laughing as you watch, but it’s not everyone’s kind of humour. And there is singing.
It’s a satire about commercial TV, charities and how the innocence of children leads to great marketing opportunities. Robin William is great as the disgraced and slightly insane Rainbow Randle, and Edward Norton is fantastic as Smoochy, the idealistic, vegan guy in the rhino suit.
Don’t be fooled though, this is a movie for adults. It has gangsters, murder and inappropriately shaped cookies.
