A few days ago I started a new story and, being on a bit of a roll, I’ve been scribbling away at some speed. As it started long-hand, it has continued in pen and ink.
Today I was within sight of the 10,000 word mark when I ran out of ink! There was a strangled scream of frustration (I was on a train at the time) and I had no back-up pen.

Still, easier to ask to borrow a pen than a laptop. I’m a long hander too. Tend to get same way when my pencil runs out of lead. Hope the words stayed in your head.
Paper and pen still wins the race for portability, for sure. And I do much less editing when I long-hand. Also handy for drawing little thingamyjigs. 🙂
