I’ve been editing on the train most days recently – shaping up the Blurt in 20 minute increments – and it’s been weird how many fellow commuters have read my screen. You might think that people taking a peek is common, but in my experience it’s actually not. Whether I’m hand writing (which gets more attention) or on my computer, most people don’t do more than a single curious glance.
So this week was unusual both for number of instances and duration of read.
I have to say, the only time it bothers me that people do this is when I’m at a raunchy bit. While I’d not be embarrassed to be caught reading something raunchy on the train, there is something weird about trying to type it as a complete stranger watches.
